About Croatia

Pula is a small town in Croatia, known for its climate, nature and calm sea. Pula is a very touristy town, especially in the summer when the small shops on the streets are open. Here tourists can enjoy a day at the beach and also visit the town's historic centre.

One of the city's main monuments is the Pula Amphitheater it was one of the first places I wanted to visit when I arrived in Pula. We had the opportunity to visit the inside of the amphitheatre with all the Erasmus students, we also had a short explanation of what the amphitheatre was used for in the past, it was really interesting to learn a bit about the history. We also had a guided tour of the city, starting at the arch and then we went into the centre to see some of the monuments that are there. I had the chance to walk around the countryside and watch the sunset. I think the city is very beautiful with some interesting monuments to see, what I like best here is the sunset, I've had the opportunity to see it at the caís and also at the Verudela. The Verudela is a very beautiful place, with rocks where you can see the sea and a beautiful sunset. The oceanarium is a place that everyone should visit. As well as having various types of fish, it also has a small boat exhibition. I also went to an exhibition in a museum, I hadn't been to an exhibition for a long time and of the ones I've been to this was my first time at an exhibition like this but I liked it and I found it super interesting and in addition to the exhibition there were also paintings with the same theme. I usually have lunch and dinner at the university restaurant, but for Easter my friends and I decided to have dinner at Bisto Alighieri the food and atmosphere were very pleasant and the food wasn't expensive. Afterwards I tried the Rustica restaurant and the food was also very good. Here I chose a pasta option with prawns and pesto sauce.

After visiting Pula I had the opportunity to visit Rovinj, the city centre has many cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlours, from here you can see to the other side of Rovinj which in my opinion is a beautiful view, in my opinion this city very pretty and colourful with narrow streets. After visiting the town, we went for a walk around the rocks. And at the end of the day we went to see the sunset at Fazana. The next day I went to Opatija, a small but pretty town with a large garden that has a path to the beach or you can just walk around. The same day we continued our journey to Rijeka, in the city centre we found the Gradski Toranj Here you'll find various cafés, restaurants and fast food outlets, as well as a mini market during the day.

One of the places I really wanted to visit was the Plitvice Lake National Park, to start the journey we had to take a boat to the other side. Then it was just a matter of following the letter of our route, which lasted 2-3 hours. Along the way we found paths surrounded by water and with lots of nature all around, we also saw small waterfalls and after climbing our route we saw nature and the waterfalls from above. It was a long walk, but it was worth it because the park was so beautiful and there was so much nature around.

My country has many tourist sites such as Lisbon, it's the capital of Portugal and it's a very beautiful city to visit and it has many monuments and tourist sites, we have the Baixa do Chiado it's one of the most touristy places in Lisbon, in Praça do Comércio we have a view of the river and a sunset. In the Baixa do Chiado, there's a square full of shops, cafés and restaurants, and to get there you go through an archway. At Christmas we have a Christmas tree which is very famous and many Portuguese and tourists go to see the Christmas lights . In the evening we can visit the docas which is a place that has many restaurants, discos and bars and has a view of the 25 de Abril bridge, this is one of the famous statues of the docks.

In the Algarve we have a few water parks, one of which is Zoomarine, where there are slides and swimming pools, and there are also shows for children, one of which is the dolphin show. This water park is most visited by families with children up to the age of.

Further north we have the famous city of Porto, here we have the famous Luís I bridge from the top we can see the whole city from above we can also ride the cable car and see the city from another perspective. One of the places that tourists usually want to visit is the Bolhão market, where there are lots of places selling traditional food from Porto and Portugal, as well as flower shops.
